Movadly Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, renewals and service changes may apply to Movadly subscriptions, setup services, custom work and digital products.

Introduction

Movadly provides digital tools and services for websites, brand assets, online presence, social media, SEO basics, customer enquiries and related business support.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, renewals and service changes may be handled.

Because Movadly may serve users in different countries, your rights may vary depending on your location, customer type, selected service, payment method and applicable law.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

Subscriptions

Movadly subscriptions may be billed monthly, annually or according to the payment terms agreed at checkout, in an invoice, proposal or service agreement.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions may renew automatically at the end of each billing period.

You are responsible for reviewing your selected plan, renewal period, pricing, included features, user limits, storage, support level and any add-ons before confirming payment.

Cancelling a subscription

You may request to cancel your Movadly subscription according to the cancellation method available in your account, billing portal or by contacting Movadly support.

Cancellation requests should include:

Account name

Company name

Registered email address

Subscription plan

Reason for cancellation, if you wish to provide one

Requested cancellation date

Cancellation may stop future renewals, but it may not automatically create a refund for the current billing period unless required by law or agreed in writing.

Monthly plans

Monthly subscriptions can usually be cancelled before the next billing date.

If you cancel a monthly plan, access may continue until the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise stated.

Monthly fees already paid are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started, except where required by applicable law, billing error, duplicate payment or written agreement.

Annual plans

Annual subscriptions are usually charged for a full year in advance.

If you cancel an annual plan, access may continue until the end of the paid annual term unless otherwise agreed.

Annual fees already paid are generally non-refundable after the service period has started, except where required by applicable law, billing error, duplicate payment or written agreement.

Movadly may consider partial refunds or credits at its discretion depending on service usage, account status, setup work completed and applicable legal requirements.

Setup services and onboarding

Movadly may provide setup services such as website setup, content setup, brand asset organisation, SEO setup, online presence setup, enquiry flow setup, onboarding or training.

Setup fees may cover planning, consultation, configuration, content work, design support, technical setup, testing, onboarding and project time.

Setup fees are generally non-refundable once work has started, unless required by applicable law or agreed in writing.

If a setup project is cancelled before work begins, Movadly may consider a refund after deducting any payment processing fees, administrative costs or work already completed.

Custom work and integrations

Custom work may include custom modules, integrations, design work, content creation, development, API connections, enterprise setup, workflow configuration or special requests.

Custom work is usually planned and delivered based on a specific scope.

Fees for custom work are generally non-refundable once planning, design, development, configuration or delivery has started.

If the project is cancelled, Movadly may charge for work completed, time spent, third-party costs, licences, integrations or commitments made before cancellation.

Digital products and delivered work

Some Movadly services may involve digital products, content, documents, templates, website pages, brand assets, written copy, SEO content, social media content or downloadable materials.

Because digital work may be delivered instantly or created specifically for your business, refunds may not be available once the digital item has been accessed, delivered, downloaded, used, published or substantially prepared, unless required by applicable law.

Free trials and promotional offers

Movadly may offer free trials, discounted trials, promotional pricing or introductory offers.

Trial terms, end dates, renewal rules, included features and cancellation requirements will be shown where applicable.

If a free or discounted trial converts into a paid plan, you are responsible for cancelling before the trial ends if you do not wish to continue, unless local law requires additional rights or reminders.

Renewals

Movadly subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Renewal fees may be charged using the payment method on file or according to agreed billing arrangements.

Where required by applicable law, Movadly will provide renewal notices, cancellation options or cooling-off rights according to the rules that apply.

If you do not want to renew, you should cancel before the renewal date.

Refunds we may approve

Movadly may approve a refund where appropriate, including cases such as:

Duplicate payment

Incorrect billing amount

Payment processing error

Service not activated due to Movadly’s error

Cancellation before work has started, where applicable

Refund required by applicable law

Refund agreed in writing by Movadly

Refund approval may depend on account status, service usage, work completed, billing period, payment method, third-party costs and legal requirements.

Refunds we may not approve

Unless required by applicable law or agreed in writing, Movadly may not provide refunds for:

Change of mind after service has started

Unused time in a billing period

Failure to cancel before renewal

Lack of use of the platform

Delays caused by missing client content or approvals

Work already completed

Setup fees after work has started

Custom work after planning or delivery has started

Third-party costs already incurred

Downtime caused by third-party platforms, user setup issues or external services

Services suspended due to non-payment or policy violation

Client delays and missing information

Some Movadly services require the client to provide content, approvals, access, images, brand assets, account details, business information or feedback.

If delays are caused by missing client information, late approvals or unavailable access, refunds may not be available for time already reserved, work completed or services already started.

Movadly may pause or reschedule work until required information is received.

Third-party costs

Some services may involve third-party costs such as domains, hosting, stock images, software licences, plugins, integrations, APIs, payment processing fees, advertising platforms or external service providers.

Third-party costs are usually non-refundable once purchased, activated or committed.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own refund, cancellation and billing policies.

Account access after cancellation

After cancellation, your access to paid features may continue until the end of the paid billing period, unless otherwise stated or unless access is terminated due to misuse, non-payment or policy violation.

After the subscription ends, Movadly may restrict access to paid features, unpublished content, integrations, storage, reports, customer data, forms, automation or support.

You are responsible for exporting or requesting needed business data before account access ends, where export is available.

Data and content after cancellation

After cancellation or account closure, Movadly may retain, archive or delete account data according to its Privacy Policy, legal obligations, technical requirements and internal retention practices.

Movadly may not be able to restore deleted data after a retention period ends.

If you need a copy of your data, you should request it before cancellation or before account access expires.

Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you believe a payment is incorrect, please contact Movadly first so we can review the issue.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is opened without first contacting Movadly, access to services may be suspended while the dispute is reviewed.

Movadly may provide billing records, service records, usage records or agreement details to payment processors or banks where needed to respond to a dispute.

Consumer rights and local laws

Consumer rights may vary by country or region.

Some users may have cancellation, refund, cooling-off, withdrawal or consumer protection rights under applicable laws. These rights may depend on whether the user is acting as a consumer or business, the type of service purchased, whether digital services have started, whether custom work has begun and the location of the user.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

How to request a cancellation or refund

To request a cancellation or refund review, please contact Movadly with the relevant account and billing details.

Please include:

Full name

Company name

Registered email address

Invoice or payment reference

Subscription plan or service purchased

Reason for request

Preferred contact details

Any supporting information

Movadly will review the request and respond based on the service type, account status, payment record, work completed and applicable law.

Processing approved refunds

If a refund is approved, it will usually be issued to the original payment method where possible.

Refund timing may depend on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, country, currency and processing rules.

Payment processing fees, currency conversion fees, bank fees or third-party costs may not be refundable unless required by law.
